Projects

At DePaul before graduation, each student is tasked with creating a creative project, portfolio, and report. All aspects of the report show different parts of what I have learned at school. I conducted an informational interview and worked on a creative project. Below I have listed the full report, the creative project, and the presentation. I also have included my professional work in Event Planning and Public Relations.

Communications and Media Capstone

My three minors have allowed for me to learn a lot about media and events from the technology side, event planning to the public relations aspects.

Final Project Presentation

Event Management

As an Event Planning Minor, I was able to learn about the ins and outs of Event Planning. I took various class which allowed me to learn about different aspects of Event Planning such as financing, graphic design, planning, venues and many more.

In these documents, I made a budget for an event that was developed to make money. I had to come up with a ticket price and the various aspects that make up the event.

Virtual Events

I created a baking event with famous pastry chefs. During the covid period, virtual events were becoming more and more common.

Catering

This is an event made for Anti-Cruelty Society. I developed a menu that relates to the theme of Under the Seas. I chose Anti-Cruelty because it is where I adopted my dog from a couple of years ago.

Public Relations and Advertising

Data Research

A fellow classmate and I explored the generational impacts of Gen Z on travel accommodations.
